Dear USA Marists,
Blessings to each of you during these sacred days of this Easter season. As we journey through these weeks and await the great Feast of Pentecost, I pray that we might, like the early disciples, gather in our own “Upper Rooms” within our communities and seek ways to bring the miracle of Christ’s Resurrection to life in a world that so deeply longs for hope.
May we continue to listen to the voice of Mary, who accompanied those first disciples and inspired the earliest days of our Church. As Marists, we are called to walk in her way—to be the Marian face of the Church today—open to the Holy Spirit and ready to go forth as Christ’s witnesses “even to the remotest parts of the earth” (Acts 1:8).
