"Happy Feast Day! Two hundred and eight years ago, on January 2nd, Marcellin Champagnat founded the Marist Brothers in the small hamlet of LaValla with just two young recruits. Marcellin’s dream and the legacy of our early Brothers continues today all around our Marist World because of so many Marists like you, who keep that dream and our Mission alive. On behalf of our USA Province, I am beyond grateful for the many incredible ways our communities contribute to the vitality and success of our ability to keep Champagnat’s dream alive in this third century of Marist life."
