Patrick McNamara, to serve as the new Director of Marist Education. “Working at Molloy has been a most rewarding experience. The message and mission of the Marist Brothers is alive and well here,” said Br. Thomas. “Molloy has the best students of any school I’ve been associated with. This comes from the guidance and direction of their teachers, coaches, counselors, and my fellow administrators.” Asked what his proudest accomplishments as Principal were, Br. Thomas was quick to answer. “The introduction of a one-to-one computing program was a key moment in Molloy’s history. I am also proud of the inclusion of the Director of Student Activities position, which has helped us to prioritize our students’ school spirit.” Looking ahead, Br. Thomas looks forward to remaining engaged with the Molloy community. “The new Provincial office will be based in Forest Hills at Our Lady of Mercy, so we will be in Molloy’s backyard. That said, I am looking forward to supporting my Marist administrative team and assisting their vision of new beginnings for the province. I plan to make myself available to Molloy as a resource to help however my expertise is most needed.” (Pictured: Br. Elsewhere, Sr. Susan Dean also retired from teaching in June after having taught religion at Molloy for the past 9 years. “It has been a joy and privilege to minister at Molloy. I can honestly say I have experienced the Marist Charism uniquely expressed in each faculty member and student. This is a wonderful professional and educational environment to be in,” said Sr. Susan. Lastly, Mrs. Christine Loo, a college guidance counselor and SMILE counselor for the past 7 years, announced she will move on to work as the Director of College Counseling at The Stony Brook School. “I learned so much at Molloy. Other times, they just do funny things. In the case of Tim McGeever ’05, he made quite a few people laugh this week. In fact he recently went viral across social media after earning the dubious honor of breaking the replica set of Seinfeld at Hulu’s fan experience event on its very first day. Video of the incident confirms that Tim’s excitement simply got the better of him, but most of us would have been just as excited. Thanks for making us laugh (with you), Tim!

We are saddened to share the passing of Dan McBride ‘82 at the age of 51.
