Molloy Welcomes Future Stanners & Families to Open House
Photos by Cesar Munoz ’26
Thank you to everyone who attended Molloy’s 2025 Open House! This year’s event was a tremendous success, welcoming prospective students and their families to explore our campus, visit our labs, meet our dedicated faculty and staff, and connect with our outstanding students!
Each tour began with a speech from our Principal, Dr. Darius Penikas, followed by remarks from several exceptional Stanners. Visitors then enjoyed a guided tour through our biology and chemistry labs, Innovation Center, and various classrooms, getting an inside look at daily life at Molloy. Throughout the day, future Stanners even had the opportunity to listen to our talented Band and Chorus members!
The final stop brought families to the Captain Marsloe Gym, where they had the chance to meet teachers, learn about our many clubs and athletic programs, and speak directly with department heads. Ms. Heather Green-Wresch, Molloy’s Executive Director of Admissions, shares, “This year’s Open House ran smoothly, was well organized, and truly showcased what makes Molloy special. One family even stopped me during their tour to say it was the best Open House they had attended this year!”
Couldn’t make it to Open House? Contact our Admissions Department at admissions@molloyhs.org to schedule a private tour and discover firsthand what it means to be a Stanner!

Spanish Club & Indian Club Lead Recent Cultural Celebrations
To close out Hispanic Heritage Month, members of Molloy’s Spanish Club continued their annual tradition by participating in a spirited hallway flag parade! During homeroom on October 10th, club members walked the hallways cheering, playing music, and waving flags in celebration of their cultural heritages! Spanish Club also sponsored a dress-down that same day, during which all Stanners were encouraged to donate $5 to participate. All money raised will help provide support, including extra food, to families and teachers at Marist schools in Venezuela.
Earlier this week, members of Molloy’s Indian Club spent the afternoon celebrating Diwali! Stanners enjoyed snacks, created colorful crafts, and decorated one another’s hands with henna. It was a wonderful celebration of friendship, culture, and community!

The group included colleagues past and present, alumni, family, and friends. Members of Mr. Rodgers’s Ice Hockey team and track team were also there in attendance. First Alumni Zumba Night of 2025-26!

Thank you to everyone who joined us on October 22 for our first Alumni Zumba Night of the year! Once again, Ms. Liz Murdocca and Mr. Chris Autera ’16 led a spirited Zumba session for alumni, parents, and friends, providing a great workout as they kick off another year of free Zumba events for our community! If you did not attend, please consider joining us for another Zumba night soon! Dates to be announced.
Theresa Arcidiacono ’14, Francesca Bello ’14, Daniela Fazio ’14, and Felicia Mendoza ’14 recently traveled together to Dublin, Ireland, where they stumbled upon a little reminder of home. The Stanner friends snapped a selfie in front of “Molloy’s” restaurant before enjoying the rest of their trip!

Please pray for the repose of the soul of Pauline Crisafulli. Together, Pauline and her late husband, Harry Crisafulli, were stewards of the Justin Crisafulli Memorial Scholarship, established at Molloy in memory of their son Justin R. Crisafulli ’99. We remember Pauline as a kind and caring member of our Stanner family whose generosity positively impacted many Molloy students.
We are saddened to share the passing of Thomas F. McGloin ’69 on October 2, 2025 after a long battle with illness. Thomas was one of three McGloin brothers to attend Molloy (Kenneth McGloin ’72, Stephen McGloin ’70). Kenneth shares, “Like all of us, his four years were very impactful in his growth and success as an adult. Tom was on the Molloy track team during the Frank Rienzo era. He was part of the varsity team that delivered the CHSAA Outdoor Championship that had eluded Coach Rienzo until his final season at Molloy before moving to Georgetown University.” Please join us in prayer for Thomas, his wife Ann, and all his loved ones. | Click Here for Memorial Page
